Our track 'What Have You Done' has been downloaded more than 20.000 times on Guitar Hero! This has made the track the 2nd most popluar song on Guitar Hero in Europe! Thanks to everyone who enjoys playing with this song!

At the moment we are preparing the next issue of the Fanzine. For this issue we would like to spend an article on the 'Vrienden van Amstel Live' Concert. A while ago you got a chance to win tickets for one of WT's theatre shows including a meet & greet after the concert, or a signed copy of the book by Robin Hobb, by pre-ordering the new Black Symphony DVD through Free Record Shop. Finally we're able to reveal something about the program of the fanclub day that will be held in Tilburg on November 2nd. The following items will be part of the day:

As you may have read in the latest fanzine the opinion and input of the fans has always been very important to the band, which eventually resulted in the foundation of The Silent Force in the summer of 2005. We have always relied on you for, for instance, our fan mail section. We’re always looking for new Me & WT photographs, stories, poems, artwork, cookies or anything WT related you can come up with really.

Of course it’s really cool if your input ends up in the magazine, but even if it doesn’t we promise to post it on the website in the appropriate section. As of now we will also occasionally be printing (concert) reviews in the fanzine, so to all of you (amateur) writers out there; this is your chance, since we are particularly on the lookout for reviews right now. So please, flood us with your creative outbursts!

Additionally we have set up an interview with questions the band would like to ask their fans, so what are you waiting for? Answer them now!

To celebrate their Black Symphony release WT has created a unique competition. A new website www.blacksymphony.nl is now online, where you can download unique video footage of our ‘Black Symphony’ concert. These are various camera shots of the track Hand Of Sorrow, bonus fragments of the entire concert, exclusive backstage and tour material and other spectacular visuals that were shown during the concert. You can also find out about the background of Hand Of Sorrow, how they were inspired to write this song and what the lyrics are.

With these unique fragments they offer you the possibility to direct your own personal ‘Hand of Sorrow’ music video! Create your own video and enter the ‘Hand of Sorrow’ music video contest!

The winning video will be chosen as WT's new official ‘Hand Of Sorrow’ music video! But there’s more... the winner will be invited (from anywhere in the world!) with a friend to visit the exclusive seated show in Haarlem on November 27th. He/she will have lunch with Robert & Sharon in a first class restaurant, have VIP tickets during the show, have a get-together with the whole band after the show and will receive a complete WT merchandise package! He/she will spend two nights at a 4-star hotel in Haarlem and of course the winner will be transported from and to the airport as well as the venue.

The second prize is a Panasonic Blu-ray player and a signed ‘Black Symphony’ Blu-ray disc. And they will be giving away 10 packages containing a T-shirt (men’s/girls design) & a signed ‘Black Symphony’ Special Edition DVD box.

Dear fans from Israel,

Unfortunately, we have to cancel our show on October 12th in Tel Aviv, Israel. We are all set and ready to do the show, but the promoter has failed to take care of the necessary means, such as booking flights and actually booking the venue. Also, as you may have noticed, tickets had not gone on sale either. Rescheduling hasn't worked out either because there weren't any dates available for both us and the venue. We are very sorry to have to cancel the show, but this is beyond our control. We hope to see you on our next tour!

Would you like to watch the live registration of the concert that took place at Ahoy Rotterdam in February 2008, together with the WT band members? That might be possible! Next Friday is the official release of the Black Symphony DVD and for this special occasion there will be a chance to watch the concert on a big screen in Amsterdam on Thursday evening (September 18th). The band will be here as well.

The only thing you'll have to do for a chance to win 2 tickets for this event is send an e-mail to blacksymphony@thesilentforce.com before Wednesday evening 22:00. Attention! Correspondence concerning the outcome of this competition is not possible and only fanclub members can take part in the competition.
